The Bucket Life

Kickin‘ it OLD SCHOOL

Ever since human life began, our race has lived and died, leaving behind accomplishments for us to build on. Lifetimes pursued progress and have obviously been successful since we don’t live in the Flintstone’s world. If time is in my favor, I’d like to complete the following. But not to be remembered in history books or anything like that. I want to pass on knowing that I achieved something for myself and had a blast along the way.

If for some reason I don‘t end up doing all these items on this list, no problem. Life doesn’t always go as planned. I don’t have a good enough secretary for that.

I want to learn to…

  • Dance. My Catdaddy and Dougie need a little work. My Robot’s mechanical though!

  • Cook. Seeing as I eat more than half my body weight, I should probably know how to feed myself. I have a feeling toast with jam and PB&J sandwiches aren’t going to cut it.

  • Speak fluent German. Seeing as I’m almost 100%, I want to get in touch with my ancestor’s tongue.

I want to overcome…

  • My unrealistic fear of heights by climbing a mountain. Preferably one nearer to sea level. Wait, that’s a hill. No… more like a plain…

  • My inner struggle to find my true colors. I sure hope I’m purple.

  • Limits. Someone told me I ought to raise the bar. I think I will… seeing as I’m going to be mentally tall enough to reach it someday. I’m only going to live once, let’s not let limits define me as a person if I can do better.

I want to meet…

  • J.K. Rowling. Her story of success is truly awe-inspiring. It just goes to show you can achieve great things no matter how hopeless your current situation looks as long as you believe that things can be better and work towards that ray of sunshine.

  • Rick Riordan and thank him for his wonderfully refreshing take on mythology. I hope he does a Norse version in addition to his Greek and Egyptian series!

  • Jenna Marbles. She's able to make me laugh even on my worst days.

  • SMOSH. Their articles are so stimulating. Yeah, that’s it…

  • The Glee producers and cast. I have some ideas that could bring the show back to its former glory.

  • A singer/s I like (too many to choose from) and do a duet with them. Just for the heck of it.

  • VENETIAN PRINCESS. Her music videos, serious and goofy alike, always bring a smile to my face.

  • Stephanie Meyer and explain what real literature is. It does NOT involve dudes who sparkle or zombie-like main characters.

  • Lady Gaga and find out exactly what’s going on in that head of hers…

A miscellaneous goal I have is to…

  • Travel the world. I know this one’s overused by many, but I really want to see it all.

  • Get animated. This goal is pretty straightforward, but I’d love to be in a cartoon more than you would care to know.

  • Completely rock the National Anthem in front of a large stadium full of people. I’ve never been much for the public eye, I just want to be confident enough to pull it off.

  • Succeed in whatever career I go for. A little work never killed anyone… right?

  • Find that special someone to share my adventures with, whether it be just a friend/spouse.

  • Write my very own book. I don’t even care if it gets published. I’ll just hang it on the fridge or something.

  • To finally meet my Florida and New Jersey friends.

-------------

That’s all I can think of right now, seeing as this shouldn’t be all of what my life entails. I’m sure this is only a tip of the iceberg on the years to come.
